Coming Together

Dear Friends and Family,

This month is about finding unity in our communities big and small. Whether it's with loved ones, peers, or the entire country, there are a multitude of ways to come together.

I ended October surrounded by Compass agents from around the country at the Fall REtreat. We celebrated Compass's 10th anniversary and talked about the future of the company and real estate as a whole. We're living in an era of constant change and, as the #1 brokerage in the country, the community at Compass is leading the charge!

I am distinctly honored to see 30 Park Place, PH 77A included in the Latest edition of Compass Curated. Compass Luxury Division brings together listings from the top 100 agents in this semiannual publication, hitting mailboxes this week—well timed with a recent uptick in luxury Manhattan deals with contracts signed bouncing back to levels last seen in May.

In addition to being connected to 25,000+ Compass agents, I am thrilled to be part of REALM Global which also hosted an event in Atlanta. REALM is committed to working with only the top 1/2 of 1% of real estate agents globally. This means that our network, together, represents some of the most powerful people in the world—my clients included.

Last month I was quoted by CNBC saying "the real sellers are meeting the buyers." As that article was picked up by MSN, World News Era, and Business News, among others, I am reminded about the importance of sellers and buyers coming together to meet the market where it is at. It is important to buy or sell, when you are ready, not when you think the market is ready.

As you consider what is best for you and your loved ones, it is also important to think about community. Election day is a week from today—a valuable time to come together as a democracy and decide our future. While we may have varied priorities and objectives, it is the collective act of voting that makes things work. Check out vote411.org to see your ballot.

While holidays with family can be tumultuous following big elections, I wish you all a healthy and happy Thanksgiving. I hope that you are able to join your loved ones in celebrating the things that bring you together instead of what drives you apart. We are all on this earth together and must do the best for each other.

If I don't speak to you before Thanksgiving, I would like to express my extreme gratitude to have you in my life. Real estate has been my only career and it's thanks to my friends and family, like you, that I'm able to keep practicing my passion.
